Dr. Andy Neitzel

Founder/ Medical Director

MSc MD FRCPC

Dr. Neitzel MD is a fellowship trained, board certified Canadian physician. He has studied at several prestigious centers across North America including the University of British Columbia, the University of Calgary, Stanford University, and Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Neitzel continues his training by regularly attending conferences and programs nationally and internationally allowing him to remain on top of the latest trends and techniques.

As a Galderma Masterclass Injector, Dr. Neitzel trains medical residents, nurses and physicians. Importantly, Dr. Neitzel also maintains a hospital practice that allows him to continually expand his medical expertise thus providing his clientsts with the highest level of care.

Over the years, my professional career has allowed me to specialize in Anatomy and Physiology along with Business Strategy and Marketing.

Having said that, my most exciting role of all time is growing with Skin Secrets. I feel honoured and privileged to help lead this dynamic team to be the best that they can be! Every day I am grateful to be surrounded by professional and compassionate team members, who care about educating and treating our loyal and gracious clients to the best of their ability.

Dr. Amber Husband

Physician Injector

Dr. Amber is a Family Physician who graduated from the UBC Family Medicine Residency Program in 2019.

She is highly respected as a clinical teacher for medical students and residents. In 2021, she was recognized by the UBC Family Medicine Program and received a teaching award.

Skincare and aesthetics have always been her passion. She started her role as a cosmetic injector at Skin Secrets in Jan 2022. Dr. Amber loves helping clients achieve a natural look and help them feel the best version of themselves!

Dr. Circe Codio

Physician Injector

MD, CCFP

Dr. Codio obtained her medical doctorate degree at the University of Montreal in 2008. Her interest in cosmetic injectables started during her residency program in family medicine at McGill University. Following her move to BC, her main practice has been in hospital medicine, both as a physician and in a leadership role.

In 2022, she decided to follow her previous passion by pursuing a cosmetic injectables role at Skin Secrets. Her goal is to help empower every client to feel like their best self!

Kerri Lorefice

I grew up in Ontario and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing in 2016. I viewed this time in my life as the perfect opportunity to fulfill a long-time dream of mine – to move to BC! This is where I began my nursing career and have since explored several areas of acute nursing. I always felt there was something more for me and decided to pursue another dream of mine, diving head first into the world of aesthetics. I have since obtained certifications in Basic & Advanced BOTOX® & Fillers.

I have always had an interest in all things beauty and skin care, and so being able to combine this passion with my existing nursing skills and apply it in a way to amplify others’ self-confidence has always been the most rewarding feeling. The medical aesthetics industry is something I am fiercely passionate about and I am always learning the newest techniques in order to provide my clients with the best results.

Elly Barnhart

Skin, Laser & Coolsculpting Technician

I’m a certified laser technician and was trained by one of the best schools in the industry, Body Bar Laser Academy. Since I was a little girl, I have been interested in skin care and overall skin health. For years I suffered from bad acne and nothing seemed to help, not even the strongest medications. Finding the right skin care line and a little microneedling was what finally cured my acne making me feel so much more confident.

Being able to help our clients with issues like this and many more is what I love about my job. Knowing I’m helping our clients achieve goals is what makes me want to come to work each day at Skin Secrets.

Shaina Clarke

Senior Laser Technician

I am a Certified Laser Technician and avid skin lover! Before joining Skin Secrets I attended All Body Laser School to become fully certified in all lasers. My professional development extends beyond my workdays, I am always honing my skills so I can continue to serve our clients in the best way possible.

Being a Senior Laser Technician at Skin Secrets, I offer a wide range of treatments that address a variety of skin conditions and concerns. Some of my favourite treatments that I offer include RF Microneedling, Hollywood Laser Facial, and C02 laser because the results change people’s lives!

Niessi Brewis

Guest Experience Coordinator

I have been drawn in by the aesthetics field for years, researching transformations and witnessing how it positively affects confidence and self-image. I adore this industry because it is extremely engaging, and there is always something new to learn.

What I love most about serving clients is making sure they go home feeling empowered, well cared for, and beautiful! I have a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double extended minor in Criminology and Psychology. I have spent the last 6 years enjoying the rewarding experience of offering the best customer service I can.

I have been a laser tech for 5+ years, graduating from Body Bar Laser Academy. I am passionate about helping people become the best version of themselves! I have always struggled with skin issues and when I finally found a way to help mine, it made me want to do the same for others. I love building relationships with our clients and I feel grateful to be in an industry that allows me to do that!

In 2014 I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing before focusing on neonatal intensive care. Alongside my nursing journey, I nurtured profound appreciation for aesthetics. Working with delicate newborns highlighted the significance of precision and meticulousness; the same values I carry into enhacning natural beauty.

My ethos revolves around prioritising safety, comfort and delivering optimal outcomes for clients. At Skin Secrets, I have been privileged to empower countless individuals, fostering confidence in their distinct beauty.
